ORB OPENING: A large metallic orb containing examples of some restored original stained-glass art work from York Minster will open to the public tomorrow (27). The Orb contains new audiovisual and interactive galleries illustrating the stories and craftsmanship of the East End of the minster and is part of the York Minster Revealed project. The 108 restored windows will be reinstalled by the summer of 2016. Cost to enter York Minster is £9 for adults and &8 for concessions and children.
