NEWCASTLE UNITED: Alan Pardew is quoted in today's Northern Echo admitting that Cheik Tiote must improve his dreadful disciplinary record.
Pardew is conducting his pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow's Europa League tie with Club Brugge later this afternoon, so expect more discussion about the Magpies' pursuit of a place in the knock-out phase.

HARTLEPOOL UNITED: Hartlepool boss Neale Cooper is on the brink after last night's defeat at Bury left Pools on the bottom of the League One table.
Developments are expected later today, and it remains to be seen whether Cooper will still be in his position ahead of Saturday's trip to Brentford.

BREAKING NEWS
High street and online retailer Argos will close or relocate at least 75 stores and reduce the catalogue circulation over the next five years as it looks to concentrate on the online side of its operation.
The chain, owned by Home Retail Group, plans to downsize its 739-shop network, shift stores to shorter leases and use them as pick up points as part of the new business plan.
The firm has not earmarked particular shops for closure and has said it will look at stores on a case by case basis as leases come up for renewal.
As well as 28 North-East stores, Argos has a distribution centre in Darlington which employs about 470 people at the Faverdale Industrial Estate, pictured above.
