Change of heart
Sir, - I was shocked to learn
some councillors had changed
their minds regarding the
charges.
Only weeks ago some had
said how opposed they were.
Why did they change their
minds? What pressures had
been put on them?
With regards to Tony Hall, I
totally agree he should stand
down. The mayor should be the
voice of the town and he has totally
gone against what townspeople
wanted.
Councillors keep saying people
should walk into town and
leave their cars at home but at
the meeting many councillors
came in their own cars, not car
sharing as they suggest we
should do..
