FROM OUR ARCHIVE: In November 1982, the parents and pupils of the Convent of the Assumption in Richmond had completed a fundraising drive to purchase a new minibus for the school. Michael Williamson of the vehicle suppliers, Williamson Motors, of Darlington, is pictured handing over the keys to Sister Maureen. Both the convent and motor dealership are no more.
