THE second bi-annual spring show of agricultural machinery, equipment, and animal healthcare products is to be held at Skipton Auction Mart later this month.
The inaugural show in 2008 attracted more than 1,200 people from across the North of England – organisers hope to attract even more this time and one visitor will win a £5,800 quad bike.
Organised by Guy Machinery, which is based at the mart, and Pearson Farm Supplies, of West Marton, the event takes place on Tuesday, February 23.
A parade of new machinery, including items from Ifor Williams Trailers, will be held along with a range of animal health products, stock handling equipment, EID sheep tagging information and up to 100 trade stands.
The 2008 event raised more than £5,000 for charity and organisers hope to beat that figure this year, with proceeds going to the special care baby unit at Airedale General Hospital, Steeton.
The star prize in a charity raffle is a Can-Am Outlander 400 quad bike worth £5,800.
The show runs from 1pm to 10pm, with the parade scheduled for 7.30pm; entry is free. For details, call Andy Belt on 07876-783020 or Chris Pearson on 07792-014709.
