TRACTOR enthusiasts and families from across the UK will be descending on North Yorkshire this weekend for the UK’s largest outdoor vintage tractor show, Tractor Fest.
This year’s theme The Legacy of Henry Ford commemorates the centenary of Ford tractors arriving in the UK to revolutionise food production - and record numbers of Ford and Fordson tractors will be joining organiser Yorkshire Vintage Association at the show.
Sponsored by one of Europe’s leading agricultural and machinery auctioneers, Cheffins, the two-day Tractor Fest at Newby Hall near Ripon is being staged on both Saturday and Sunday and regularly attracts more than 10,000 visitors.
More than 1,500 vintage tractors, engines, commercial vehicles, cars and motorcycles from around the UK and Europe will be showcased.
The popular March of the Tractors will once again travel into Ripon market square on Saturday from 5.30pm to 7.00pm.
A range of fun family activities will include opportunities for children to drive mini tractors around a specially constructed track, arts and crafts, interactive exhibits and trade and food stands, making Tractor Fest the perfect family day out.
Tickets are priced at £11.50 adults and seniors, £8.50 children and free for the underfours .
