DARLINGTON Farmers' Auction Mart carried out the unreserved and complete retirement sale of Messers RW & NE Hull, of Manor House Farm, Heighington, on March 25.
The hosts were blessed with clear blue skies and sunshine ensuring a good crowd gathered of 92 active buyers from Northumberland to Worcestershire and from the west coast of Cumbria to as far away as Poland.
The highlight and day's leading price was the New Holland T6030 Plus tractor, an immaculate example of its kind. The 2008 registered machine had only accumulated 2,500 hours and sold for £29,000.
The S-registered loader tractor, a New Holland 6635, also sold well on the day as bidding reached £11,600. A Superior 1T PTO driven corn mill sold for £4,600; a 10T twin axle Triffit grain trailer sold for £3,000, while an immaculate Ifor Williams 12ft livestock trailer reached £2,550.
