CHEFFINS auctioneers will sell one of the most important collections of vintage International tractors in its April sale.

The Dave Boyles International Collection will go under the hammer on April 22, and is expected to generate more than £80,000.

There will be 23 International tractors offered, many of which are rare models including some unusual four-wheel drive conversions of standard tractors by makes such as County and Roadless and a rare International 3588 'Snoopy' tractor.

However, the rarest will be an International 614 with Roadless front axle conversion. It is believed to be one of only five ever built and is expected to make £12,000-£14,000.

The sale is on April 22 at Cheffins Machinery Sale Ground, Sutton, Ely. See cheffins.co.uk or call 01353 777767.
