TINKERBELL, a red Limousin sired heifer, took the overall supreme championship at the 2016 English Winter Fair.
Bred by W Richardson & Son of Appleby the May 2015 born heifer out of a Lim x Blue cow was bought and shown by James May, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.
Weighing in at 615kgs she lifted the heifer championship before taking the supreme overall championship and was bought for £4,200 by Northallerton butchers Messrs B&T Kitson.
The reserve overall baby champion went to Tallulah who was exhibited by Wilkinson, Lawson and Marwood from Leyburn. Born in April 2016, Tallulah was bred by BR Lawson & Son.
The reserve steer champion was won by Wurzel, the June 2015 born Limousin cross shown by J & S Wareham, East Sussex, that was bred by AJ & FM Harrison, Appleby.
