FARMS Minister George Eustice is to address next month's Northern Farming Conference at Hexham mart on November 9th.
Mr Eustice is expected to speak about the government's plans for the future of farm subsidies and trade post-Brexit and will take questions.
The line-up of speakers includes Sir Peter Kendall, chairman of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board; Ross Murray, president of the Country Land and Business Association; and David Blacker, AHDB monitor farmer at York and precision farming specialist.
They will be joined by Anthony Carroll from Northumberland who was Arable Innovator of the Year 2015; Robert Craig, 2014 Dairy Farmer of the Year and Nuffield Scholar; and James Thornton of Warrendale Farms, a Wagyu beef producer.
