THE shearling ewe sale at the English National Sale, Worcester, saw a new centre record price of 16,000gns paid for a gimmer from Stuart Currie's Beautry flock of Rathmell, near Settle.

The same buyer then paid 4800gns for Mr Currie's second of the evening, CUB1501158 which was also by Loosebeare Voldemort and out of a dam by Beautry Panama.

At 2400gns the Quick family’s Loosebeare Yorkie, sired by Loosebeare Voomer and out of a dam by Loosebeare Saviour, sold in a two-way split to John Sinnett, Stockton and Ed Samuel, Hendre.

Mr Sinnett also paid 2,000gns for Vorn War'Orse, a shearling ram from John Vaughan which was a Vorn Vaurus son with an index of 514 and out of a dam by Avon Vale Real Deal.
