THE North Yorkshire and South Durham Agricultural Valuers Association has presented a cheque for £500 to the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI).
The farming charity spent £125,000 last year in North Yorkshire and £2 million nationally assisting farming families in difficulty.
William Douglas, association president, said: "Our members practicing across North Yorkshire and South Durham have seen first-hand the difficulties faced by our clients and farmers this year, and we hope this donation can support the hard work of RABI."
