RICHARD Hampton, the Organic Milk Suppliers Co-operative (OMSCo) former chief operating officer, has been appointed managing director.
Nicholas Saphir, chairman, said: “Richard has been involved over the past 12 years in helping successfully developing the original £25 million co-operative to today’s £100m business. We are delighted that Richard will be responsible for the overall management of the next phase of our exciting development”.
OMSCo is the UK’s main supplier of organic milk with more than 200 farmer-owner members and with core customers in the UK, Europe and the USA.
Richard Hampton said “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to be responsible for implementing the milk pool and product development plans for 2015 and beyond."
