CATTERICK. – Thanks to Walls brewery for showing members their brewing process last week, and allowing them to try a dabble of their produce. There is a committee meeting on Monday, February 2, at the Greyhound at 7.30pm. Next week's meeting is a mock machinery auction at Heselton Farm, DL8 1LU, at 7.30pm or 7.15pm at the Booth Hall.

ELWICK. – This week’s meeting was a talk by the Guide Dogs. Thanks go to John and his dog Nellar for giving members a very interesting talk about the Guide Dogs. Next Wednesday is the first round of the county quiz and both juniors and seniors are at home at The Three Horse Shoes, Running Waters. If you have any problems, let Katie know. Next week’s meeting is a stock judging practice. Meet at Pudding Poke Farm (Appleton’s) for an earlier start of 7pm start. INGLEBY CROSS. – This week's meeting was dairy judging at Nev Kitching's. Thanks to Nev for giving us a talk on dairy judging and for showing us around the farm. Next week's meeting is a business meeting. Meet at the village hall at 7.30pm. New members who are interested in joining the club should call Holly on 07799 390732.

NORTHALLERTON. – Thank you to Doug Rudd for coming and showing us his culinary skills last Monday. Next week's meeting is novelty to judging in the auction mart canteen at 7.30pm. Tweet @YFC_Nallerton.

REETH. – There will be a business meeting on Tuesday at 7.30pm at The Buck to discuss stewards for the rally and upcoming stock judging practices. Could members return any club, Cledales or county trophies they have to this meeting. Membership forms also need to be sent off, so please take a picture to go on your card, so that forms can be filled in on the night.

SEDGEFIELD. – This week, members enjoyed a novelty judging evening, judging boots and cakes. Next week's meeting is stock judging at Doves.

STAINDROP. – On Monday night, we were invited to Mr and Mrs Pounders for dairy judging. The results were: juniors, 1 David Herbert, 2 Lilly Fox; and 3 Joshua Atkinson; and the seniors, 1 Michael Boyes; 2 Adam Close; and 3Scott Pounder. Members will be informed of next week's meeting via phone or social media.

STOCKTON. – Our next meeting will be on Monday, when we are going sheep judging at Mill Lane Hill Farm, Middleton St George, DL2 1TG, hosted by Jim Cowan. Meet there at 7.30pm. We need an idea of numbers, so let Caroline know on 07533 783814, if you are coming. The annual quiz is on Saturday, March 28, at Neasham Reading Rooms, Neasham, at 7.30pm with the first round at 8pm. Teams can have a maximum of eight people. WENSELYDALE. – We held our presentation night on Saturday, January 10. Well done to the members who won prizes. We followed the presentation with bingo and a bring-and-share supper. Our annual domino drive was held on January 16, and was won by John Lancaster. Thanks to all who attended and donated raffle prizes. Our next meeting will be on Monday at Roy Allinson's Wensleydale Eggs, Southwick Farm, Finghall at 7.30pm for a tour and poultry judging.
