Listen and learn at goat farm day

FARMING a profitable commercial dairy goat enterprise will come under the microscope at a free open day at Pasture House Farm, West Marton, Skipton, North Yorkshire, on Thursday, September 4.

The event is organised by the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers and hosted by Philip Ormerod who, with his two sons, has swapped a herd of dairy cows for dairy goats.There will be presentations on genetics and health and nutrition.
