UPPER Teesdale Agricultural Support Services holds a sheep-shearing course at Richard and Kath Iceton’s East Thorngarth Hill, Baldersdale, on Saturday and Sunday, June 28 and 29.

The British Wool Marketing Board (BWMB) course will be taken by Bill Mason, British Isles Shearing Competitions Association judge, and Richard Schofield, BISCA judge.

Trainee shearers will have the opportunity to learn their skills through the BWMB accredited “Seal”

awards requiring preparation, shearing, rolling and packing wool.
