Farm Stay members toast cook book’s charity success

2:59pm Friday 4th April 2014

YORKSHIRE Farm Stay members were given the afternoon off lambing to celebrate the start of English Tourism Week and the success of their recipe book.

Featuring 50 favourite recipes from members of the group of on-farm accommodation providers, it sells at £5 per copy and has so far raised £6,000 towards the £10,000 target to be donated to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

They met at The Udder Coffeeshop, an onfarm coffee shop and cook shop opened by new member Tanya Umpleby at Spruisty Hall Farm, Killinghall, near Harrogate, and toasted the book’s success with cakes and champagne.

They will also have a stall at this year’s Otley Show on Saturday, May 17, to help boost the fundraising kitty.
