Country show set to celebrate cenenary

ALDBOROUGH & Boughbridge Show celebrates its centenary this year.
As part of the celebrations it is offering two awards of £250 to those studying for an agricultural qualification.
The committee will look for candidates to use the award to further their education and give a presentation showing how they spent the award and participate in the preparations for the 2014 show.
Applicants must live within a 10 mile radius of Boroughbridge. They must submit a typed document of no more than 400 words outlining their personal details, summarising their College/University course and how they would use the award.
It must be submitted by April 30 to Kate Dale, Rooker Hill Farm, Helperby, YORK YO61 2RU.The awards will be presented at this year’s show on Sunday, July 21.
