Stuck in a soulless career in advertising, Callum Cutter (Jonnie Hurn) searches for a meaning to his mundane existence in Do Elephants Pray?

Directed by Paul Hills (Boston Kickout) Do Elephants Pray? is an ethereal drama that baits the spirit and demands answers to questions that may or may not exist. It comes to DVD on 20 May 2013 from Bluebell Films and we have three copies to give away.

Heading up his own failing firm, the hard-working, demanding boss burdens his staff with his increasingly erratic behaviour as he faces the challenge of selling an unsellable product.

He finds solace in his Tai Chi classes where he meets the stunning Malika (Julie Dray – Doctors), a free-spirited French woman unbound by the conventions or responsibilities of the world, who enchantingly appears without warning and immediately starts to question everything he believes in and relies upon. Through her unique blend of psychology and seduction she persuades him to abandon his make-or-break advertising campaign for a few soul-searching days roughing it in a forest in her native France.

While his employees led by the boisterous Marrlen (Marc Warren – Hustle) and the slovenly Jode (John Last) plan to abandon the sinking ship, Callum embarks on a life changing trip to where he must face a series of increasingly demoralising trials that tease his mind and taunt his perception of the world. Will he find the hidden meaning to his unfulfilled life and the solution to his problem?

Do Elephants Pray? Release Date: 20 May 2013, Certificate: 15. RRP: £14.99 Running Time: 105 mins. Cat No: BLB504

WIN TOP PRICE TICKETS TO SEE JOHN SIMM AND SIMON RUSSELL BEALE IN THE HOTHOUSE!

Harold Pinter's macabre tragicomedy returns to London's West End in this new production directed by Jamie Lloyd (Donmar's Passion, Broadway's Cyrano de Bergerac, the National Theatre's She Stoops to Conquer, Royal Court's The Pride) from 4 May to 3 August. It follows the critically acclaimed and sold out Macbeth, starring James McAvoy, in a thrilling season of work for Trafalgar Transformed.

Starring Simon Russell Beale (Privates on Parade, Timon of Athens, Collaborators) and John Simm (Elling, Hamlet, Betrayal, The Village) alongside Indira Varma (Twelfth Night, Hustle, Silk, Rome) and Harry Melling (Harry Potter, Mother Courage).

It's Christmas Day in a nameless state-run mental institution where the inmates are subjected to a tirade of mindless cruelty. A maniacal and self-obsessed leader breeds a contagion of hierarchical savagery amongst his staff, who thrive on a noxious diet of delusion and deceit.

The day got off to a lousy start! A death and a birth. Absolutely bloody scandalous! Is it too much to ask - to keep the place clean?

Under a veil of devilish wit and subversive humour, Pinter's biting political commentary on the perils of unchecked power is as vital and pertinent today as when it was written in the 50s.

Don’t miss this opportunity to spend an evening in the company of one of football’s legends. On Tuesday 4th June, An Audience with Jimmy Greaves will give fans the chance to hear stories from the man himself and even pitch their own questions to him.

One of the most naturally gifted and prolific strikers of any era, Jimmy Greaves was born to score goals and that is exactly what he did in an iconic career that spanned three glorious decades. He is third on the all-time England goal scorers list behind Bobby Charlton and Gary Lineker but his goals per game ratio remains superior to both. Injury robbed him of the chance to play in the 1966 World Cup final but his impact on the international stage was undimmed by the cruel twist of fate and he will forever be remembered as one of England’s greatest ever strikers.

Throughout the evening, he will chart his illustrious career with plenty of hilarious anecdotes along the way. Tickets can be purchased 24 hours a day from watfordcolosseum.co.uk and group discounts are available.
