I WOULD like to say a public thank you to Tennants of Leyburn for allowing the NHS Breast Screening Unit to park on their land recently.
I say this on my behalf and I am sure also on behalf of all the ladies who took up the recent offer of breast screening.
In conversation, I found out that the unit is having to vacate sites in Richmond and Catterick and is having difficulty finding new ones.
We are indeed fortunate that Tennants is such a community-orientated business.
