I WAS interested to see that Yorganics is selling its 100 per cent recycled compost (D&S Times, Oct 28).
It is compost that has been recycled from my green waste, and I have just received a notice stating that I am about to be charged £35 a year to have it recycled.
I wonder when the second hand shop is opening to sell items retrieved from skips, and when I shall have to get up early to catch the bin persons in order to empty my own bin into the wagon and pass on the cash for doing so?
Cynical, yes, and I know we all have to more with less, but the timing seems like rubbing your nose in it to me.
