FOR over a year, the residents of Catterick Village have had to contend with an increased volume of traffic through the village, bollards everywhere, road closures, diversions, poor/misleading signage and lots of traffic lights. The latest work at the Marne Barracks end of the village has caused even more chaos as the queues to get on to the A1 North or South will testify.
How about a donation towards the struggling Booth Hall in the village or perhaps the sports field...some token of thanks for all we’ve had to put up with?
I think we are all fed up. Last week we got a letter apologising for the disruption. When the bus was over 30 minutes late into Richmond on Tuesday morning and it took us 35 minutes to get to Colburn on Friday, somehow the letter wasn’t enough.
