ONCE again GOLD’s annual tea dance last Thursday in the Market Square, Darlington, brought together the older members of our community for a few hours of music, dancing, laughter and refreshments.

The event would not take place every year without the support of the community, our members and our sponsors, so we would like to say thank you to Councillor Tom Nutt; Darlington Building Society; the Freemasons; the Foresters Friendly Society; Sainsbury’s; Eden Mobility; Northumbrian Water; Cafe JJ; JJ Blair & Sons; Darlington Borough Council; Flowers by Phyl; The Co-operative; The Concertina Charitable Trust; The Little Big Band, the Texas Toe Tappers; Citizens Advice Darlington and GOLD members.

We would also like to thank the stall holders and the businesses that donated raffle prizes and they include: Caffe Nero; Contemporary salon; the Dolphin Centre Bistro and the Dolphin Centre Nail Lab; Era 21; The Pennyweight and Pizza Hut.

We appreciate your help.

Debbie Hackworth, GOLD coordinator, Darlington
