I REFER to the imminent demise of the Lambert Hospital which has served the community of Thirsk and its surrounding villages for over 120 years.
With the increasing population of Thirsk surely there is a greater case for its development than there is for its closure?
If we all just sit back and do nothing, this vital facility will be lost for ever.
Please write to our MP at kevin.hollinrake.mp@parliament.uk to offer support and ensure we retain this community facility.
David Parkinson, Carlton Miniott
