ON a recent cycle ride along Parson back lane which stretches from Potto Hall crossroads to link with the A19, it was refreshing to see that North Yorkshire County Council had repaired the vast majority of potholes and craters in the road surface.
I say “majority” with tongue in cheek because those involved in the repair work missed several areas. Perhaps they should have gone to Specsavers!
