DO the residents of Northallerton realise that part of the Local Development Framework states that there should be “more choice for older people including two bedroom bungalows for sale” as there is a shortage of bungalows in the town.
Yet, at the same time, the planners give planning permission for small bungalows, near the town centre, to be extended into two storey dwellings thus reducing the small stock of bungalows and increasing the stock of large four or five bedroom properties.
I do not understand the logic behind these recent approvals.
