Walking with the Wounded in Richmond
LATER this year, UK and US wounded veterans are taking part in a 1,000-mile walk throughout the UK.
In the afternoon of September 7, Walking with the Wounded will be passing through Richmond on its way to Catterick Garrison.
I would like to request that people in Richmond and surrounding areas turn out and salute these gallant ex-soldiers.
The route into Richmond will be Gallowgate, Queens Road, Dundas Street, Frenchgate and the Market Place.
More information will be made available nearer the time.
