Hambleton District Council has recently posted a Hybrid Planning Application Green Notice relating to the North Northallerton development site. The notice refers to land to the west of Stokesley Road. However, as Stokesley Road has an east-west axis for almost its entire length, how is it possible for development to take place to the west of it? To the north or the south maybe, but not east or west. Let us hope that the rest of the planning for this development has been subjected to far better scrutiny than the Green Notice would suggest.
