I AM sure everyone who visited the Fourth Annual Northallerton Homegrown Food Festival in the Applegarth will agree that it was excellent and had something for everyone!
In my view this is most definitely the premier event in Northallerton and puts Northallerton and its wonderful Applegarth park on the map.
In writing, I want to congratulate and acknowledge the Homegrown Food Group festival organisers, none of whom are paid to organise the event. They are a truly dedicated team of six who put in hours and hours of unpaid work voluntarily on top of doing their regular day jobs to ensure the festival is the success that it is.
Without their true dedication and hard work the festival would not exist. They are to be truly congratulated – well done!
