I AGREE with the writer of the letter headlined “Tar trouble” (D&S Times, June 12) concerning work which was done on the footpaths in Thornton-le-Beans for a second time, wasting taxpayers’ money.
Yet the footpath along by Hillside is a disgrace. It has not had anything done to it for years. It's about time the Highways department got its act together. They must be blind not to see the state it's in, and the road is just as bad, all potholes.
