I'M writing on behalf of the Yorkshire Dales Rivers Trust to thank all the children and teachers involved in contributing to the schools' art exhibition held at Tennants Auction Centre, Leyburn, as part of the Swaledale Festival.
Visitors to the exhibition were highly impressed by the standard of pictures produced by children from Aysgarth, Brompton on Swale, Gunnerside, Leyburn, Middleham, Reeth and Wavell (Catterick Garrison) schools on the theme of rivers in the Dales.
Our thanks also to local artist Nora Yates who gave advice and encouragement to the children, to the Swaledale Festival and to Tennants for providing a splendid exhibition space.
