Sir, – I refer to the article about Mandy Dunford (D&S May 8) and the terrifying ordeal she is suffering at the hands of a convicted sex offender.
The disgusting things he did, as well as firing shots and patrolling the area with a shotgun means it beggars belief that he was allowed to come back home. The judge and police in charge of Mandy's case wouldn't have been so lenient if it had been their mother, daughter or sister.
They all should have a rethink about the offence and let Mandy get justice.
