Sir, – Having received at long last through our letter box this week the local Conservative party candidate's election leaflet, my eagle-eyed wife was quick to spot that among the rogues gallery of party leaders pictured on the inside pages was Alex Salmond. Sheer ignorance, sexism or both on the part of the self-proclaimed party of competence?
