Sir, – I recently received by mail a piece of Conservative Party propaganda that stated everybody likes Rishi Sunak.
What is to like about someone who supports the awful bedroom tax? Someone who supports the savage cuts to the NHS plus the sell off of the Royal Mail for peanuts.
Someone who thinks that the greed and austerity that the Conservatives promote is good. Someone who supports the cut in benefits to the disabled causing untold misery. Someone who supports the cuts in benefits to already struggling families resulting in the growth of food banks not seen since the 1930s.
Add to this that he probably had not been north of Watford up to a few months ago and the hype about who he has met, he still cannot possibly know anything about the Richmond constituency.
Unlike the candidates for the other parties and a very popular Independent who are all local.
