Sir, – I notice that North Yorkshire Police Authority is going to spend some money on Northallerton Police Station.
Before it gets too carried away I wonder if it has thought of re-using Dishforth Airfield as happened some years ago. Its position is ideal for rapid response for the A1, A19 and A61 in emergency situations.
