Sir, – I would like to congratulate the boys and girls of North Stainley primary school on their award from the Institution of Civil Engineers (D&S, Jan 16) and also the headteacher for having such foresight to compete.
This will provide great encouragement for the next generation of civil engineers; perhaps they could be rewarded to a site visit to the A1 Leeming to Barton motorway upgrade scheme, a major contract which is being so well run.
I am sure this could be arranged.
