Sir, – Another year has now finished but the work of Thirsk Clock continues.
Everybody involved with Thirsk Clock is always amazed at our supporters and how they continue to contribute, especially so following our 2014 Christmas appeal.
We would like to thank everybody in the community who gave either individually or organisations and groups for donating food and goods including Morrisons (Bradford) who donated an amazing amount of food.
Thirty-one food parcels were given out, 58 young people benefited from our Christmas activities and it was pleasing to note that staff, after carefully checking, were not aware of any youngsters who were unable to enjoy a Christmas dinner on the 25th.
Thank you once again. for young people and families it is a wonderful message when they learn and experience the help and support that the community wishes to share.
LINDA GIBBON
on behalf of the trustees of Thirsk Clock.
