Sir, – Spectator (D&S, January 9) provides a useful guide to the general election candidates in Richmond constituency (so far).
We all know that the Independents are simply disgruntled Tories, so that makes three shades of blue. Add the other established and discredited parties, and you’ve got five dispiriting shades of grey.
Readers who are already fed up with the election shouldn’t despair. Fortunately, there is a real, bright, positive alternative – Leslie Rowe is standing for the Green Party.
