Sir, – While I am heartened by Mr Borman's irrepressible enthusiasm for local politics (D&S letters, Oct 31) and he is correct in his assertion that rules are rules, I wish he wouldn't use the pronouns "us" and "we" when expressing his Ukippery.
He does not speak for me nor my country.
I am a UK taxpayer and yet I do not want to leave Europe nor want to back pedal on our obligations under the treaty. However, I fear that this may set me apart from Mr Borman, as one of "them".
Unfortunately, It seems the politics of division are what Mr Borman and UKIP are ultimately about.
