Sir, – I refer to your front page headline of last week ' Solar Power panel farm scheme to be unveiled' and wish to correct an inaccuracy.
I have not referred in any instance to the effect that house prices would fall by 15 per cent as a result of solar farm schemes successfully gaining planning permission.
My only comment on this subject was a two paragraph letter to Hambleton District Council objecting to an application in Ainderby Steeple two months ago on the basis these developments are unsightly in what is a beautiful landscape.
