Sir, – I've just seen the From Our Archive feature (D&S Times Weekend Times, Oct 3) on the Gunnerside Methodist Primary School choir (helpfully shared via facebook). I was in the choir, as was my little sister Keira. I'm second from the left at the back (with some exciting collar action going on) and Keira is at the front on the far left with a blond bob.
Not sure how well the tapes sold but I know there were at least a couple of occasions where we all had our photo taken with a big presentation cheque so they must have been respectable.
Hopefully you'll get some of the other girls writing in as we've all been commenting on facebook – no professional singers as far as I know though!
