Sir, – Regarding JM Binns’ letter (D&S, June 20) on the price of fuel in Northallerton, I agree completely with his views.
I also go out of Northallerton to purchase my petrol and diesel. I would however like an answer as to why it is dearer.
I also find it cheaper in Scotland and it is cheaper in Darlington. It is a pity we don’t have a supermarket with room for a petrol station when there would be competition.
