Sir, – We echo the sentiments expressed in Jane Scrope’s letter (D&S, Sept 27) regarding the excessive speed and noise generated by motor bikes going through her Lower Wensleydale village. The incessant shouting between groups of cyclists as they race through our upper Wensleydale village is just as bad and shows an equal disregard for the rural community.
