Her main responsibilities will involve the promotion of the company’s feed, visiting customers, attending agricultural shows and markets, building relationships, and helping customers with advice and placing orders.

Chris I’Anson, said: "Welcoming the fifth generation of the family to the business is a real pleasure and something I know all our predecessors would have been very proud to see.

"Hattie has grown up with an in-depth understanding of the industry and she will be a fantastic addition to the company as we look to continue to progress in the future."

Hattie said: "This company is something I’ve grown up with so to be given the chance to join it and help contribute to its ongoing success is a wonderful opportunity. While it is a little daunting to join the family firm, I can’t wait to put what I’ve learnt into practice."

Mr I'Anson also welcomed Steph Baul to her new position. He said: "Steph has been an important member of the company for a number of years now and she will continue to be a huge asset to the business through her new role as in feed sales."
