THE reception manager at Rockliffe Hall Hotel in Hurworth has won a "shooting star" award for professionalism.
Stephanie Wolstenholme, 22, from Newton Aycliffe, received the award at the North East Hotels Association excellence awards 2017.
She joined the five star hotel, golf and spa resort five years ago as a part-time receptionist while at sixth form college, before working in reservations and then as reception supervisor, while studying at Teesside University.
Gemma Pott, the hotel’s business development manager, was a finalist in the sales excellence category.
Richard Allen, executive chef at the Orangery restaurant within Rockliffe, was finalist in the inspirational Leader section, at an awards ceremony at The Boiler Shop in Newcastle.
