A DARLINTON-BASED property preservation firm has strengthened its team following an exceptional period of growth.

BCS Preservation specialises in providing environmental and building services in the UK and has enjoyed an increase of more than 40 per cent in sales in the past year.

As a result, it has taken on Ian Hopkin and Richard Leckie as surveyors and Sarah Stainsby as contracts administrator.

Having worked in the preservation industry for almost 40 years, Mr Hopkin, a former managing director, brings a wealth of in-depth knowledge to the team.

Mr Leckie has 30 years’ experience working with several national companies and has come out of retirement to develop the company’s surveying team.

Sarah Stainsby has several years’ administration experience and has been taken on to assist the contracts and admin teams.

Aaron Davidson, managing director, said: “It’s a very exciting time for BCS Preservation and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

“This is set to be a busy year for us and looking forward, we plan to expand the team further by recruiting several technicians to help with the ever increasing workload.”
