A NEW fitness facility has opened in Leyburn.
Fitness4All is a brand new all-purpose gym is housed within a 2000 square foot industrial unit on the Harmby Rd Business Park. It is owned and run by husband and wife team Robert and Lucille Bartlett who hope to attract customers from fitness fanatics to those who just want to exercise more.
The gym is divided into three distinct areas for cardio vascular training, resistance training and a studio area. All the latest treadmills and exercise bikes have the facility for music to power ride to and there is over a ton of weights.
Mr Bartlett is an ex-army physical training instructor. He explained: "After leaving the army I worked in engineering and thought it would be nicer to work in a healthy environment.
"I got the idea for my own gym as I guess the fitness bug never really left me. It has been a struggle to get everything ready but we are very pleased with the result and are looking forward to meeting and working with all our new customers."
Mr and Mrs Bartlett will be assisted by Josh Wagstaff and Lesley Williams, well-known local fitness instructors.
Fitness4All is open from 7am to 9pm weekdays and weekends.
