A REGIONAL law firm has become one of the first businesses to move into a newly refurbished historic building in Stockton.
BHP Law has taken part of the ground floor of Gloucester House, in Church Road, as its new base on Teesside.
The Grade II listed building, which is a short walk from Stockton high street, has been turned into offices by owners Caroline and Jeff Highfield.
John Pratt, managing partner of BHP Law, said: "Gloucester House's central location brings us closer to our existing clients on Teesside and any for whom Stockton is a convenient meeting place.
"It's an attractive building which has been sympathetically refurbished and we're happy to be supporting the conservation of historic old buildings like Gloucester House."
The house is on a Georgian terrace dating back to the 18th Century. Originally home to some of Stockton’s most affluent families, and formerly known as Paradise Row, it faced an open green space with views down to the River Tees.
