STONE Technical Services of Darlington has won a £250,000 contract with London's Royal Parks to restore the famous Serpentine Bridge in Hyde Park.
The family run building maintenance firm will carry out a full renovation and repairs to the bridge which dates back to 1820. It marks the boundary between Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens and the lake hosted events during the 2012 London Olympics and swimming competitions.
