BUSINESS advisers from Clive Owen will help companies deal with the biggest shake up in company reporting for years at a free event next month.
The Financial Reporting Council’s FRS102 has now come into force for the country’s medium and large companies which meet two out of the following three criteria: a turnover of more than £6.5m; gross assets of more than £3.26m; have more than 50 employees
Kevin Shotton, a director at Clive Owen, said: “The changes may have only taken effect from January 1, but the new guidelines stipulate that companies need to show the previous two years in the new format. In addition, there are tax implications. We want to help guide businesses through the tax aspects and ensure they maximise any saving opportunities.”
The two hour event is at Clive Owen’s offices in Coniscliffe Road, Darlington, on Wednesday, March 11, at 8.30am. For more information or to book a place contact Margaret Gill on 01325 349700 or email info@cliveowen.com
